Executive Building June 1, 1957
I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of Purdue University at 10:01 a.m. on Saturday, Jvme 1, 1957, pursuant to.the action of Minute XX, April 17-18, 1957, and further pursuant to the following notice sent to each Trustee by the Secretary on May 9, 1957: I
In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, and pursuant to the action of the Board of Trustees on April 17-18, 1957, there will be a—— stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Saturday, June 1, 1957, convening at 10:00 a.m. CDT in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University in order to:
1) Receive, open, consider and act upon bids for:
a) Remodeling of the Home Econonaics Bvrilding
b) Nuclear Engineering Laboratory (Remodeling of High Voltage Laboratory);
2) Consider and act upon the budgets of the University, the Agricvdtural Experiment Station, the Agricultural Extension Service, and the Self-Supporting Enterprises for the year 1957-1958;
3) Consider and act upon any other fiscal problems related to the budget; and
4) Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 10:01 a.m. All members of the Board were present as follows: Mrs. Brayton, Messrs. Bannon, DeLaurier, Hanley, Kettler, Lyim, McAllister, Moore and Thompson. Also present were President Hovde, Treasurer Stewart, Assistant.Treasurer Freehafer, Executive Dean Mallett, Assistant Business Manager Gabbard, Professor Hicks, Mr. T. R. Johnston, Mrs. Pereida and Secretary Skinner.
