L NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated biennial meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of Purdue University at 9:32 a.m. on Friday, October 27, I96I, pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on June 3, 1961, and further pursuant to the following notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on October 5, I96I:
In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, and pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on Jvme 3, 1961, there will be -a stated biennial meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Friday, October 27, I96I, convening at 9:30 a. na. Central Daylight Time, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, in order to:
1. Elect officers of the Board for the 1961-1963 biennium;
2. Receive, open, consider and act upon bids for the following
projects:
a. Fire Damage Repairs, Lilly Hall of Life Sciences
b. Storm Water Drains - I96I;
3. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which
may come before said meeting,
n. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 9:32 a, m. All members of the Board were present as follows: Mrs, Vogler, Messrs. Branigin, Creighton, Hanley, Kettler, Rumely, Schenck, Thompson and Wilson. Also present were President Hovde, Treasurer Freehafer, Counsel Schilling, University Vice Presidents Chenea, Mallett and Young, Assistant Treasurer Firm, Executive Assistant to the President Hicks, Legal Assistant Lowe, Assistant Morris, and Secretary Skinner, The following also were in attendance: Mr, T, R, Johnston, Bureau of In¬ formation, Mr, Frank Arganbright and Mr, Jack Alkire of the Lafayette Journal and Courier, and Mr. J. C Smalley, Director of University Residences and Purdue Memorial Union,
