L    NOTICE OF MEETING.
July 14,  I960
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in special meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University at 11:05 a.m.  on Thursday,   July 14,  I960,  pursuant to action of the Board on June 4,   I960,   and further pursuant to the following notice sent to each menaber of the Board by the Secretary on June 22,   I960:
in accordance with action of the Board of Trustees at a naeeting held
June 4,   I960,   there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees
of Purdue University convening in the Trustees' Room of the Executive
Building of the University at 11;00 a. m.   CDT on Thursday,   July 14,   I960,
in order to;
1, Receive,   open,   consider and act upon bids for:
a. East-West Runway,   Taxiways and Apron
b. Airfield Lighting System
c    Primary Electrical Distribution System
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may come before said meeting.
n.    ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the naeeting to order at 11:05 a. m.    All members of the Board except one were present as follows:   Mrs.  Van Ness, Messrs.  Branigin,   Creighton,  Hanley,  Kettler,  Schenck,   Thompson and Wilson,    The absence of Mr.  DeLaurier was excused by consent of the Board.    Also present were President Hovde,   Treasurer Stewart,  Assistant Treasurer Freehafer,   Assistemt to the President Hicks,  Assistant Business Manager Linn,  Assistant to the Treasurer Gabbard,   Legal Assistant Lowe,  Assistant Pereida,   and Secretary Skinner.    Mr,  Hannah, Bureau of Infornaation,   and Mr.   Williana Freyberg of the Liafeyette. Journal and Courier were also in attendance.
ni.    BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION.
At 11:06 the following entered the meeting:   Messrs. Abbett,  Ahlers, Dillingham,   Hamilton,   Jobusch,   Wade and Webster of the University staff, two representatives of Clyde Williams Associates (engineers for the Air¬ port project),   and representatives of bidders on the following projects:
