L    NOTICE OF MEETING.
September 16,   1953
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in special meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive BuilcUng of Purdue Uni¬ versity at 10:00 a.m.  CST (11:00 a.m.  CDT) on Wednesday,  September 16,   1963, pursuant to Minute XX, August 20,   1963, and further pursuant to the foUowing notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on September 1,   1953:
In accordance with the action of the Board of Trustees at the meeting held August 20, 1953, there wiU be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Wednesday, September 16, 1953, convening at 10:00 a. m. CST (11:00 a. m. CDT) in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, in order to:
1. Receive,  open,  consider and act upon bids for Electric Wiring for the Completion of Life Science Building #1, and
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may come before said meeting.
n.    ROLL CALL.
President Hanley caUed the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m.  (CDT).    AU members of the Bcaard except three were present as follows:   Messrs,  Branigin, Hanley,  Kettler,  Lynn,  Thompson and Wilson,    President Hovde read a letter from Mrs.   Crooks concerning her absence.    The absences of Mrs.  Crooks, Mr. Anderson and Mr.  Teetor were excused by consent.   Also present were President Hovde,  Treasurer Stewart,  Comptroller Kettler. Assistant Conaptroller Freehafer,  Secretary Hockema, and Assistant Secretary Skinner,
IIL    OPENING OF BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION.
At 11:05 a.m. the foUowing entered the meeting: Mr. Walter Scholer, Sr. , and Mr. Walter Scholer, Jr., Architects, Messrs. Abbett, Hamilton, and Wade of the Unive rsity staff, and representatives of bidders on the foUowing projects:
Electric Wiring for the Completion of Life Science Building #1.
Treasurer Stevsrart read the names of those submitting bids as foUows:
