STATED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES
OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Executive Building June 9, 1951
'I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University at 2:00 p.m. (DST), Saturday, June 9, 1951, pursuant to the following notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on May 16, 1951:
In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Saturday, June 9. 1951, convening at 1:00 p.m. CST (2:00 p.na. DST) in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University in order to consider and act upon any naatter or busi¬ ness that may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL. , '
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. All members of the Board except one were present as follows: Mrs. Van Ness, Messrs. Branigin, Hanley, Kettler, O'Brien, Sherwood, Thonapson and Wilson. The absence of Mr. Lynn was excused by consent. Also present were President Hovde, Treasurer Stewart, Comptroller Kettler, Secretary Hockema and Assistant Secretary Skinner.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF INVESTMENT AND FINANCE COMMITTEE OF THE BOARDOF TRUSTEES.
President Hanley presented the following minutes of the meeting of the Investnaent and Finance Conamittee of the Board of Trustees held May 22, 1951t
The following members of the Investnaent and Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University met at the call of the President at 10:00 a. m. , May 22, 1951, in the Board of Trustees Room of the Executive Building on the campus of the University, namely: William A. Hanley, Charles J. Lynn, R. Hartley Sherwood, Frederick L. Hovde, R. B. Stewart. Mr. William A. Hanley acted as Chairman of the meeting and R. B. Stewart as Secretary.
AU members of the Committee being present, the meeting was declared in session.
The Committee met concurrently with the Investment Conamittee of the Purdue Research Foundation in order that the members could receive
