Sutherland, Haynes, Ratliff and Wells. Mr. Sutherland was called to the chair, and this being the day assigned by the State Board of Agriculture for a grand competitive trial of Reapers, Mowers and other Agricultural Machines upon the grounds of the University, and also because of the absence of President Coffroth and Genl. Manson, on motion the Board adjourned to to-morrow morning at 9 o’clock. Wednesday, June 28th, 1876; 9 A.M. The Board met pursuant to adjournment; present as yesterday. The grand trial being still in progress and Prest. [President] Coffroth and Genl. Manson absent, on motion the Board adjourned, to meet to-morrow at 9 o’clock A.M. Thursday, June 29th, 1876; 9 A.M. The Board met pursuant to adjournment; present as yesterday, and for the like reasons as yesterday it adjourned to to-morrow morning at 9 o’clock. Friday, June 30th, 1876; 9 A.M. The Board met pursuant to adjournment; present, President Coffroth and all of the Trustees except Gen. Manson; also present President White. The minutes of the session of the Board held on June 14th, 15th, and 16th, 1876 were read and approved. Prof. Hougham being present submitted an exhibit of accounts, embracing the receipts and expenditures of the University since Oct. 18, 1875. On motion the same was referred to Mr. Wells for examination with directions to report his conclusions to the next meeting of the Board.
