S^TED ANNUAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TRUSTEES OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY
Executive Building October 24, 1962
L NOTICE OF MEETING,
The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated aimual meeting in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University at 9:35 a,m, on Wednesday, October 24, 1962, pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on April 18, 1962, and further pursuant to the following notice sent to each member of the Board by the Secretary on October 3, 1962:
In accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws, and pursuant to action of the Board of Trustees on April 18, 1962, there will be a stated annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University on Wednesday, October 24, 1962, convening at 9:30 a,m. Central Daylight Time, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University in order to:
1, Consider and act upon bids for the following construction projects:
a. Parking Lots A, B, C, E and F - 1962
b. Exterior Completion of Aviation Technology Building
c. Storage Building for Jet Propulsion Laboratory
d. Residence Hall for Women H-8
e. Women's Residence Halls Annex;
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business which may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL.
President Hanley called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m. All members of the Board were present as follows: Mrs. Vogler, Messrs. DeLaurier, Dicken, Hanley, Kettler, Rumely, Schenck, Thompson and Wilson. Also present were President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer, University Vice Presidents Chenea and Mallett, Counsel Schilling, Executive Assistant to the President Hicks, Business Manager and Assistant Treasurer Finn, Legal Assistant Lowe, Assistant Morris and Secretary Skinner. Entering the meeting at this time were the following; Mr. Frank Arganbright, Lafayette Journal and Courier, Mr. Dave Neuberger, Editor of THE PURDUE EXPONENT, Architects Scholer, Sr, , and Scholer, Jr., and staff members Abbett, Arnsman, Cadwell, Fletemeyer, Hamilton, Johnston, Smalley, Wade and Wilson.
