I. NOTICE OF IvLEE.TING.
.The Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convened in stated meeting at 8:23 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 1971, in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, pursuant to the folio-wing notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on December 29, 1970:
In accordance -with provisions of the Bylaws, there •will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening at approximately 7:45 pm EST on Tuesday, January 19, 1971, in Room 326, Purdue Memorial Center, and at 9:30 am EST on Wednesday, January 20, 1971, in the Trustees' Room of the Executive Building of the University, in order to:
1, Consider and act upon bids for the folio-wing
construction projects -
a. Utilities and C.ampus Services - Cooling Tower No. 6
b. Utilities and Campus Services - Chiller No. 6
c. P. U. Calumet Campus - Student-Faculty and
Library Building, Electronics System
d. P. U. Calumet Campus - Relocation of Tele-, communications Distribution Center;
2. Consider and act upon any other matter or business
which may come before said meeting.
II. ROLL CALL, JANUARY 19, 1971.
In the absence of President Knoy, Vice President Wilson called the meeting to order at 8:23 pm. All members of the Board except two were present as follows: Mrs. Myers, Messrs. Brumfield, Graham, Heine, Hillenbrand, Rumely and Wilson. The absences of Trustees Knoy and Walb were excused by consent of the Board. Also present were President Hovde, Vice President and Treasurer Freehafer, University Vice Presidents Andrews, Hawkins, Lawshe and Mallett, Counsel Schilling, Executive Assistant to the President Hicks, Business Manager and Assistant Treasurer Ford, University Attorney Lowe, Dean of Wornen Stone, Dean of Men Roberts, Mr. Hentschel, Treasurer of Purdue Research Foundation, Mr. Smalley, Director of Uni¬ versity Residences and Purdue Memorial Union, Mr. Wade, Director of
