Relating to printing of Lectures, communication received, read, and on Mr. Barrett’s motion approved; communication reads as follows:Mch [March] 19-1900To the Board of Trustees of Purdue UniversityGentlemenFor a number of years it has been the practice to publish in pamphlet form most or all of the lectures given before our students by scientific and technical experts, especially those lectures which relate relate to railway engineering.I find that there has been no appropriation made for that purpose this year, nor can I learn that the matter has been specifically authorized.The number of lectures which it seems best to print this year will probably not exceed five or six.
