STATED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TRUSTEES OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY

I. NOTICE OF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees (the "Board") of The Trustees of Purdue University (the "Corporation") convened in stated meeting at 9:04 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2002, in Room 326, Stewart Center, West Lafayette campus, pursuant to the following Notice mailed to each member of the Board by the Secretary on March 19,2002.
In accordance with the Bylaws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Tmstees of The Trustees of Purdue University convening at 9 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2002, in Room 326, Stewart Center, Purdue University West Lafayette campus.
Specific Agenda items will be posted and distributed subsequently in the manner required by law.
II. ROLL CALL, FRIDAY, APRIL 12, 2002.
Chairman McGinley called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m. The following members of the Board were present as follows: Mrs. Edmondson, Ms. Day, Messrs. Birck, Edwardson, Essex, Hardin, McGinley, Moreau, Powers and Townsend. Also present for all or part of the meeting were Dr. Jischke, President of the University; Provost Mason; Mr. Bums, Treasurer of the Corporation and Executive Vice President and Treasurer of the University; Secretary Behringer; Legal Counsel Benton; Senior Vice President Blackwelder; University Vice Presidents Almond, Bottum, Isom, Kjonaas, Robinson, Rollock, and Sautter; Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Burke; Director of Strategic Planning Mukerjea; Chancellors Cohen (Calumet), Dworkin (North Central) and Wartell (Fort Wayne); Professor Linda Mason, Chair, University Senate; Professor Charles Winer, President, Faculty Senate, Purdue University Calumet; Brenda Shea, President, Purdue Student Government West Lafayette; and Justin Busch, President, Student Government, Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne.
III. REVIEW OF FUTURE MEETING SCHEDULE, BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
Chairman McGinley drew attention to the listing of future meetings and commencements. He noted that, continuing the Board's policy of meeting at one of the regional campuses each year, the June 7th Trustees' Meeting will be hdid at the Purdue University Calumet campus.
