Sally
Frost
Mason
talks
about
early
years
growing
up
in the
Midwest
and
receiving
a
BS
in
Zoology
from the
University
of
Kentucky
in
1972
,
MS
from
Purdue
in
1974
and her
Ph.D.
in
Cellular
,
Molecular
and
Developmental
Biology
from the
University
of
Arizona
in
1978.
Prior
to her
appointment
at
Purdue
as
Provost
in
2001
, she was a
faculty
member
at the
University
of
Kansas.
During
the
interview
Mason
talks
about
her
impressions
of the
campus
in
2001
versus
when
a she was a
graduate
student
in
1972
and
other
topics
such
as
