Abstract of InterviewEdwin H. Page, Ph.D. VM, came to Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 1964 and became a member of the Department of Large Animal Clinics. He talks about research in equine digestive systems and instruction in equine medicine. On July 1, 1975 became Head of Large Animal Clinics and talks about his responsibilities, challenges and student interaction along with clinical research curriculum. He conducted research in acupuncture. Page talks about changes in the school during his tenure and the Deans of the School of Veterinary Science that he served under (Erskine Morse, Jack Stockton, Hugh Lewis and Alan Rebar). He is the recipient of several awards including Distinguished Alumnus Award and Indiana Veterinary Medical Association Presidents Award, 1985.
