| Title | Computer operator delivering cart of processors |
| Description | Joshua Riaubia, an IT computer operator at Purdue University, races to deliver a cart of processors to the campus data center. It was a day for speed as more than 200 Purdue employees and students raced to build a 10, 000-processor supercomputer by lunchtime. The supercomputer, "Coates, " is thought to be the world's first supercomputer wired solely with 10-gigabit networking, making it among the world's fastest. Riaubia, who normally works the night shift, traded shifts so he could be there for the morning event. |
