DescriptionPurdue Provost Randy Woodson and Da Hsuan Feng, senior executive vice president of National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), sign a Memorandum of Understanding as NCKU President Michael Lai looks on. A nine-member Taiwanese delegation from NCKU visited Purdue from April 27-30 to develop collaborations in learning and discovery and to explore the placement of a Purdue-NCKU museum exhibit at Purdue in 2010. The museum exhibit and the visit originated from an interest at NCKU to reconnect with Purdue after 50 years. Purdue helped elevate the academic programs at NCKU in the 1950s and 1960s with funds from U.S. AID after World War II.
