Hornett, senior vice president, treasurer and COO of the Purdue Research Foundation,  celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Herman and Heddy Kurz Purdue Technology Center. The 105, 000-square-foot facility is named for Herman and Heddy Kurz. Heddy Kurz of Louisville donated $3 million toward the $14.5 million building in honor of her late husband, who received a degree in electricial engineering from Purdue University. The building will open is 2009.
