DescriptionDedications of new buildings included the groundbreaking of the Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering, the Burton Center in Discovery Park, and the Canine Cancer Center. Ford Dining Court and the Pao Center were completed, as was the Dauch Alumni Center (named for Dick and Sandy Dauch). IUPUI saw a new campus center added to their landscape. The new chemical engineering building, Forney Hall, was dedicated. The Fort Wayne campus celebrated 40 years with the dedication of a Mastodon Statue.
Description ContinuedThe Campaign for Purdue hit the $1 billion mark. A $10 million gift from the Weldon family was received for the biomedical engineering building. The Krannert School of Management was named the number one MBA school.
