| Description | Photograph of R.O.T.C. and Military; Plans for the establishment of a Naval ROTC at Purdue University next November, with opening of the regulat November term, were worked out by this group of naval officers and University officials at a meeting held on the campus June 15, 1945. The University will have a full-fledged naval training unit for regularly enrolled civilian students at that time. The naval ROTC will be in addition to the Army ROTC which Purdue has had.
