| Description | Purdue University History, Homecoming, 1967. Homecoming Queen -- Anne Kathleen Koch, left, blue-eyed, Home Economics junior from Indianapolis, was crowned queen at Purdue University's Annual Homecoming Saturday afternoon. The frosted-haired, 5-foot-2 queen, one of Purdue's cheerleaders, was crowned by the 1966 queen, Mitzi Shunk Jennewein, who was also a cheerleader. Miss Koch is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Koch, 3901 Shelbyville Road, Indianapolis, and a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She plans to become a nursery school teacher after graduation. Other queen contest finalists serving as her court were, from left, Terry Medley Johnson, 459 S. Ruston Ave., Evansville, Ind., a pharmacy senior; Patricia Anne French, 185 Ramblewood Road, Moorestown, N.J. a home economics junior; Jenise Ann Johnson, RR2, Long Grove, Ill., a home economics senior, and Kathleen Kegebein, St. John, Ind., a sophomore in art and design. |
