| Description | Purdue University History, Homecoming. 1964 Homecoming Queen -- Miss Janet Lynn Kramer of Lafayette (right) was crowned Purdue University's Homecoming Queen by Miss Carole Sue Adams of Acton (left), last year's queen. Miss Kramer was crowned during halftime ceremonies at the Purdue-Illinois game saturday (Oct. 31). She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Kramer, 2061 Crestview Court, Lafayette. A graduate of Jefferson High School, Lafayette, she is a member of Delta Phi Delta, national art honorary, and a student affiliate of the American Institute of Interior Designers. Miss Kramer was Junior Panhellenic-Interfraternity Council queen in 1962. Her mother is a 1943 graduate of Purdue with a BS in home economics, and her father is a 1940 Purdue graduate with a BS in mechanical engineering.
