Rouzie, vice president, Commercial Airplane Division, Boeing Co., Renton, Wash., by Purdue President Frederick L. Hovde (right) at the morning session of the university's 117th commencement exercises on Sunday (June 8). Rouzie, during 40 years with the Boeing Co., has developed many types of aircraft and was senior project engineer on the Boeing 707, first jet airliner in the United States. He received a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue in 1928. 6-8-1969 |
